Digital wellbeing tools for intentional phone use

Noctra combines anti-doomscroll protection, app blocking, focus sessions, recovery tools, habit tracking and calm atmospheres in one focused Android experience.

Reduce mindless scrolling

Anti-doomscroll interventions help interrupt automatic scrolling loops and encourage more intentional phone use.

Control distracting apps

Select distracting apps, apply usage limits and display blocking interventions when your configured limits are reached.

Start focused work sessions

Use focused sessions for studying, coding, reading, writing, remote work and deep concentration.

Recover with calm atmospheres

Ambient soundscapes and recovery sessions provide a calmer alternative to high-stimulation apps and endless content.

Practice boredom training

The Boredom Box helps you spend short periods without constant stimulation and rebuild comfort with quiet time.

Understand your habits

Track focus time, urges, detox sessions, streaks and patterns that influence your relationship with your phone.

Accessibility Service use

Noctra uses Android’s Accessibility Service to provide real-time app blocking, app usage limits, Anti-Doomscroll interventions and Sentinel Mode.

When the service is enabled, Noctra detects when an app selected for blocking or limiting is opened. It can then display the blocking screen, usage-limit warning or intervention configured by the user.

Accessibility access is required for these app-control features to work in real time. Noctra does not use this service to read passwords, payment information, private messages or text you type. Accessibility data is not sold or used for advertising.

The service is enabled manually through Android Settings and can be disabled at any time.
